Jewelry & Gemstone Loans. Keep the piece. Borrow against it.
Borrow against important jewelry and loose stones without selling them and without a pawn counter. Every piece is examined by a credentialed gemologist, matched to its laboratory report, and held in insured vault storage until you repay.
Jewelry We Lend Against
Don’t see your piece? Tell us about it — significant pieces are reviewed case by case.
Same stone. Same piece.
The question every owner asks when jewelry leaves their hands: will the same stones come back, unchanged? The record answers it — documented before storage, locked while a loan is open, and yours to keep afterward.
Report numbers are matched to the stones, including any laser inscription on the girdle.
Stone measurements and carat weights are recorded so the same stones can be confirmed at return.
Signatures, serial numbers and hallmarks are photographed and recorded.
High-resolution photography and a written condition report, compared again at return.
Verify once. Borrow when you choose.
Send photos of the piece, any maker’s marks or serial numbers, and any laboratory reports, certificates or receipts.
A credentialed gemologist identifies and grades the stones, confirms lab reports against the piece, and documents maker’s marks and condition. Appraisal is billed at cost.
Insured collection or shipping to secure, insured vault storage. Your piece is insured at full replacement value from the moment it leaves your hands.
Receive a confidential, no-obligation term sheet. Repay at any time and your piece is returned or stored with its record intact.
Jewelry Loan FAQ
Can I borrow against my jewelry without selling it?
Yes. Your jewelry serves as collateral for a loan of $25,000 to $2 million, with terms from 1 to 36 months. You keep ownership, and the piece is returned when the loan is repaid.
How much can I borrow against jewelry?
Loan-to-value typically ranges from 25% to 75% of the appraised value. Pricing is driven mainly by the stones and the maker, not the metal weight, so a laboratory report and a signature from an important house both support a higher figure.
Do I need a GIA report?
It helps, especially for diamonds over one carat and important colored stones. If a piece has no report, we can arrange laboratory grading, billed at cost.
How is this different from a pawn shop?
A pawn shop often values jewelry close to melt and stone wholesale. We value the piece as a whole, including its maker and laboratory reports, and hold it in insured vault storage under a locked record.
Do you check my credit?
No. The decision is based on the piece, not your credit history or income.
Is the loan non-recourse?
Non-recourse terms are available on qualifying loans, meaning the piece is the lender’s only remedy. Your term sheet states plainly whether your loan is non-recourse.
Can I repay early?
Yes. Generally, there is no prepayment penalty. Repay at any time and your piece is returned or stored with its record intact, ready if you want to borrow again.
Keep the piece. Use its value.
NON-FUGAZI is invitation-only. Tell us what you own and we'll respond confidentially with next steps.
