Don't see your reference? Tell us about it — significant watches are reviewed case by case.

The Record

Your Patek, documented with its history.

The question every collector asks when a watch leaves their hands: will the same watch, with the same parts, come back? Your watch's record answers it — documented before storage, locked while a loan is open, and yours to keep afterward.

Case & movement numbers

Both are recorded and matched against the Certificate of Origin or archive extract.

Originality

Dial, hands, case and bracelet are assessed for originality versus service replacement, which matters most on vintage and complicated pieces.

Condition at intake

Photography and a written condition report, including any polishing, before storage.

Certificates

Certificate of Origin, Extract from the Archives, box and service papers recorded with the watch.

The Process

Verify once. Borrow when you choose.

01
Submit

Send photos of the watch, case back and serial area, plus any box, papers, warranty card or service receipts.

02
Verify and record

An independent watch specialist authenticates the watch and documents its reference, serial, condition and which parts are original. Appraisal is billed at cost.

03
Store

Insured collection or shipping to secure, insured storage. The watch is covered at full replacement value from the moment it leaves your hands.

04
Borrow when you choose

Receive a confidential, no-obligation term sheet. Repay at any time and your watch is returned or stored with its record intact.

Common Questions

Patek Philippe Loan FAQ

How much can I borrow against a Patek Philippe?

The amount is based on an independent appraisal and recent secondary-market data for your reference. Originality, condition, polishing history and complete papers all affect value. Loans range from $25,000 to $2 million.

Can I borrow against a discontinued Nautilus?

Yes. Discontinued Nautilus references are among the most sought-after watches on the secondary market and are well suited as collateral.

Does an Extract from the Archives help?

For vintage Patek, yes. The extract confirms the watch’s original configuration and production date, which supports both authentication and value. It is not required for modern pieces with a Certificate of Origin.

Will my watch be polished or serviced while in storage?

No. Your watch is stored as received. Nothing is polished, serviced or altered without your written instruction.

Is a Patek loan better than a pawn shop?

A pawn shop prices at a steep discount and is rarely equipped for high horology. We use an independent specialist appraisal, insured storage and a locked record so the watch cannot be swapped, sold or pledged twice while the loan is open.

Do you check credit?

No. The decision is based on the watch, not your credit history or income.
